Dublinfest!!!!

All semester long I've been hearing about Dublinfest from the rest of my teammates and how crazy and fun it was, and it did not disappoint. Dublinfest is a 4 day event (4 nights out, 3 days of playing) when teams from England come over and play a variety of different sports. Over the past few years lacrosse has grown to be the largest one with over 35 teams and 500 athletes participating. Our UCD team played well and went into the playoff's with a 5-0-1 record, but lost in the semi-finals to eventual winners Nottingham. Although we came close to winning we had plenty of fun during the championship game thanks to a quick ride to tesco. It is definitely an event that I will never forget, and might have to come back next year to play in again. I have to say that the English kids were some of the craziest people i have ever met. Most went out at night with nearly no clothing on, but with their bodies painted instead or insane costumes. The only downside is that their accents are really annoying, trust me.
